What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your browser. We use them for two reasons: to make the site work (essential cookies), and — with your consent — to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it (analytics cookies).
Categories we use
1. Essential cookies (always on)
These are needed for the site to function — they remember your cookie-preference choice, keep forms from re-submitting on refresh, and balance traffic across servers. They are not used for tracking and we don’t need your consent to set them.
- fixfiniti_consent_v1 — stores your cookie banner choice (accepted / rejected). Local to your browser, never sent to our servers.
2. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
When you click “Accept all” on the cookie banner, we load these tools:
- Google Analytics 4 — page views, time on page, traffic sources. IPs are anonymised before being stored. We do not use Google’s advertising or remarketing features.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymised heatmaps and session recordings (no personal information, form fields are masked) so we can see which parts of the page are working.
- Meta Pixel — used to measure the effectiveness of any Meta (Facebook / Instagram) ads we run and to show relevant ads to people who’ve visited the site.
- Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights — aggregated, anonymous performance data so we can keep the site fast.
How to change your choice
You can change your cookie preferences at any time:
- Clear your browser’s site data for fixfiniti.com — our banner will re-appear on your next visit so you can pick again.
- Block third-party cookies in your browser settings — the essential site will still work normally.
- Use your browser’s “Do Not Track” signal — we treat it as a rejection of analytics.
What we never do
- We never sell your data to third parties.
- We never use analytics for credit scoring or any consequential automated decision.
- We never track you across other sites except where you explicitly opted-in via the cookie banner — and only for measuring our own marketing.
