Refund & cancellation policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026. How cancellations and refunds work on FixFiniti once paid bookings go live.

FixFiniti is currently in a pre-launch waitlist phase, so no payments are taken yet. The policy below describes how cancellations, refunds and re-visits will work once paid bookings go live. We’re publishing it now so everything is transparent ahead of launch.

1. Free cancellation window

You can cancel any booking free of charge until a category-specific cut-off (shown in the app at the time of booking). For most services this is up to 30 minutes before the technician is dispatched.

2. Late cancellation

If you cancel after the cut-off but before the technician has reached your address, a small fixed late-cancellation fee applies (capped, and disclosed in the app). The rest of any amount paid is refunded within 7 business days.

3. Cancellation after arrival

If you cancel after the technician has reached your address but before any work has started, a visit fee equal to the category’s base inspection charge applies. Anything additional is refunded.

4. If we cancel or no-show

If FixFiniti cancels a confirmed booking, or the technician doesn’t turn up within the agreed window, you are entitled to:

  • A full refund of any amount paid, processed within 7 business days; and
  • A FixFiniti credit equal to the inconvenience-fee policy published in-app at the time, applicable to a future booking.

5. The 30-day workmanship guarantee

If the same issue we worked on recurs within 30 days of the original visit due to our workmanship, we’ll send a technician back at no additional cost — including parts up to the category cap published in-app. This does not cover unrelated faults, damage caused after our visit, or normal wear-and-tear.

6. Refund method & timing

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used to book the service. Most banks credit refunds within 5-7 business days; UPI refunds are usually instant once processed.

7. Disputes

If a refund decision doesn’t feel right, write to hello@fixfiniti.com with your booking ID. We aim to resolve disputes within 5 business days. Where we can’t agree, the matter is governed by our Terms & conditions and Indian law.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers and posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
